The Board of Directors (the Board) is the governing body of DYP. The Board establishes the strategic goals for the organization and monitors its implementation. Rather than focusing on the operational details, the Board is interested in the overall direction of the organization and monitoring results. We are seeking dynamic young professionals and entrepreneurs interested in serving as a DYP Board Member.

How does the Board of Directors differ from the Executive Team? The Board of Directors is more of an advisory role for the organization and focuses on organizational strategy, rather than executing the day-to-day functions of the organization, such as programming. 

Who Should Apply: Seasoned young professionals who meet the following criteria:

• Experience and knowledge of work associated with philanthropic boards or committees

• Experience fundraising and soliciting donations for nonprofit or for-profit causes

• Experience with strategy development and implementation
